Accuse me of jumping on, but I have been on this bandwagon from day one. I think this kid rocks and I think he has soul. He does these musical runs that are amazing and he has the kind of voice that you don't need to be nervous about whether he is going to hit those high notes. Dude is kickin awesome! (Yes I just used the phrase, "kickin' awesome" and I am proud of it!)

I have been watching Idol for the last 4 seasons and I have never voted...but I voted 8 times for David last night! I love him too. I heard it was a close call last week, so I wanted to make sure he was top 2!
I like David A, but...
David Cook is my pick. He's very different. David A's stuff is pretty predictable - very very good, but somewhat predictable. I think a lot of that is due to his youth and relative inexperience. Whereas David C is so creative and comes up with some very interesting arrangements. Like "The First Time Ever I saw Your Face" last night. He took that song and made it sound contemporary and very good. Made it "his own" as Simon always says.
